Orbit International Hotel, located in the Shesha Ber area of Kombolcha City, is a premier four-star hotel established to provide modern hospitality and exceptional service.
Construction of the hotel began in 2012 and was successfully completed in 2018, after which the hotel officially commenced operations. Built on an area of 1,554 square meters, the project was completed with an investment cost of approximately 564 million Ethiopian Birr.
Designed to deliver comfort, convenience, and elegance, Orbit International Hotel features 63 well-furnished guest rooms, four conference halls, three kitchens, a modern restaurant, a spacious parking area, a sauna and steam room, a Moroccan bath, a modern café and bar, two VIP suites, a fitness center, and a beautiful terrace designed to offer guests a relaxing and memorable experience.
Despite facing several challenges during construction and implementation, including bureaucratic obstacles, the vision behind the hotel remained strong. Additional planned facilities include a swimming pool, cinema hall, supermarkets, men’s and women’s salons, a modern sports hall, and expanded conference facilities.
The founders entered the hospitality industry with a commitment to addressing the growing need for modern, high-quality accommodation in the Wollo region, where they were born and raised. the owner of Orbit International Hotel, was born in 1968 in the historic area of Marye, Ambasel, Wollo, Ethiopia. He began his educational journey in his local community, where he completed his primary education.
